The Middle School State South Qualifier hosted at Jeffersonville High School is open to any wrestler enrolled in a public or private school in the state of Indiana, 5th – 8th grade. Athletes in a home school program must provide verification. The athlete must be under the age of 16 before January 23, 2022. Each wrestler must have a valid USAW Card. USAW cards will not be sold on-site, however, cards may be purchased at www.usawmembership.com. NFHSA Rules will apply, matches will consist of three periods: 1:00 – 1:30 – 1:30 min.
TOP 12 IN EACH WEIGHT CLASS OF THIS TOURNAMENT WILL QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS ON SUNDAY 1/30/22 AT CENTER GROVE HIGH SCHOOL.
Registration via Trackwrestling.com and you must pre-register at www.trackwrestling.com. No registration will occur on-site or by mail. Payment is required at the time you register (No Refunds). Late entries will not be accepted. The entry fee is $20.00 per athlete (paid when you register at trackwrestling.com) and spectator fee is $10.00 (cash only).
Weight Classes are 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, and 285. You must weigh in on-site using a competition single. On site weigh ins only Sunday 1/23/2022 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM. You can move up if you miss weight. If you qualify for state, you must wrestle in the same weight class and make scratch weight next week in the championships.
